Most vendor lists are directories — every name in town, alphabetized, so nobody can be blamed for a bad recommendation. This one is split into two honest halves: people I have actually worked with, and companies that will answer the phone at two in the morning. Those are not the same list, and pretending otherwise would make both useless.
Right Now — Something Is Actively Going Wrong
Before you call anyone: if water is running, shut off the main valve. If water has reached outlets or wiring, do not step in it — kill the main breaker if you can reach it safely, otherwise wait for an electrician. Then photograph everything before any crew arrives; time-stamped pictures are what make an insurance claim go smoothly.
These are listed for one reason: they answer after hours. I have not personally hired all of them, and I am not vouching for their work — I am telling you who picks up. Smell gas? Get everyone out and call 911 from outside first.
24-Hr HVAC, Electrical + Plumbing
1401 E Sioux St. One call covers heat, power and water — useful when you don't yet know which system failed.
Water Damage / Restoration
3901 W 53rd St. 24/7 dispatch also at 800-456-5004. Call before you start pulling carpet — what you do in the first hour decides how much dries out and how much gets replaced.
24-Hr Plumbing + Drain
2005 E 34th St N, Sioux Falls.
Sewer Backup / Main Line
901 E 52nd St N. Main-line and sewer backups across the whole metro.
24-Hr HVAC
Backup if Waterbury doesn't pick up. 24-hour line, holidays included.
Emergency Electrician
515 N Garfield Circle. Around-the-clock availability — backup to Waterbury for electrical.
Water Damage / Mitigation
1065 Ruud Trail, Hartford. Backup to INTEK for water damage — handles large-scale extraction and structural rebuild.
Hydro-Jetting / Heavy Drain
4020 W Tickman St. High-pressure hydro-jetting rather than snaking — for grease or heavy tree roots a standard auger won't clear.
I am paid nothing for any name on this page. No referral fees, no kickbacks, no arrangements of any kind — that is a federal requirement under RESPA and it is also just how I would want it. Everything here is offered as a convenience, not as a warranty, guarantee or endorsement of anyone’s work. A green check means I have hired them or worked alongside them on a transaction; no check means they are listed for availability or reputation only. Verify current licensing, bonding and insurance yourself, and get more than one bid on anything substantial. If someone here does poor work, tell me — that is how the list stays worth reading.

Don’t See Your Problem Here?
If I don’t have someone for it, I’ll say so and help you find two bids rather than hand you a phone book. You don’t have to be a client and there’s nothing attached to it.
